I have the same problem with my Microsoft Arc Mouse no longer working after the Creator update. I have a Surface Pro 2 and the original Arc Mouse. Does this mouse no longer work and I need to consider purchasing the newest Arc mouse? I followed your above instructions. Also, there is no update for my Bluetooth driver available so that's not the issue. My Surface Type Cover works fine.
Thank you,
Linda

HI Barb,
I tried your suggestion, but it still didn't help even though some repairs were made. Bluetooth will discover the Arc Mouse SE but will not pair. I have a blinking blue light along with a blinking orange light, I gave it some time to connect without success.

try a two button reset:
Step 1: Swipe in from the right and tap or click Settings, tap or click Power,
and then tap or click Shut down to shut down Surface. If you can't shut down
Surface normally, press and hold the power button on your Surface for 30
seconds.
Step 2: After Surface turns off, press and hold volume-up button and the power
button on your Surface at the same time for at least 15 seconds, and then
release both.
The screen may flash the Surface logo, but continue holding the buttons
down for at least 15 seconds.
Step 3: After you release the buttons, wait 10 seconds.
Step 4: Press and release the power button again to turn your Surface back on.
then, make sure the Mouse is removed and does not show in the list and try to
pair again. you might want to insert fresh batteries. a blinking RED light means
low batteries. I know you said orange, but..

Same problem with MANY Dell XPS-13 9360 and XPS-15 9550. I have to switch off and on the bluetooth to regain mouse.
It's a pity, arc mouse cannot be used. It worked before Creator.

I gave up. I just use my Logitech mouse. I don't think I'll purchase the newest mouse. I don't travel with my Surface Pro anyway. I have the Surface Dock for additional USB ports so it's not an issue of using the one USB port on the device. It's just annoying when a product no longer works due to updates.
